From Little Things Big Things Grow

Held at the Four Seasons Hotel the Grand Ballroom was transformed into a forest wonderland and certainly made a beautiful backdrop for a very magical evening.

Hosted by our Patron Ray Martin AM, over $1.15 million was raised at the annual event which was attended by over 350 Humpty supporters.

From the events fundraising, 99 pieces of essential children’s medical equipment will be donated to 54 of the 294 hospitals that Humpty is currently supporting across Australia.

Guests were entertained by comedy juggler extraordinaire Marty Coffey and were blown away by the extremely talented and much loved Australian singer Kate Ceberano AM.

Of course, one of the highlights was hearing from Sue Channon, an inspirational mother of five who has certainly had her fair share of hospital visits with all her children. However it was her beautiful eight year old daughter Lauren who stole the show. Lauren has undergone 120 operations and it was Sue’s warm heartfelt thanks to all of our Humpty supporters, that because of their generous donations her daughter was still with us today. It was certainly tough to listen to but Humpty is most thankful to Sue for sharing her journey with our supporters. It certainly reinforced that together, we are making a difference to the lives of children in hospitals, and their families, across Australia on a daily basis.

We are delighted to announce the date for The Great Humpty Ball in 2017 – Saturday 4 November at the Four Seasons Hotel. We hope you can all join us, for advanced bookings please call Humpty on 02 9419 2410.

Enjoy viewing the photos from the event.
