The Ultimate Burn – Mt Kilimanjaro Trek

On July 29 2009, the Humpty Dumpty Foundation embarked on a new adventure and the journey of a lifetime.

An initiative of The Hon. Joe Hockey MP, Humpty’s long-time friend, trekkers had the opportunity to share in the emotion and the spirit of ascending Mt Kilimanjaro, the world’s highest free-standing mountain.

Humpty will again in 2010 embark on this amazing adventure.

The date is set: Thursday 29 July – Tuesday 10 August 2010.

Humpty is pleased to announce that Peter Hillary, and his daughter Amelia, the son and granddaughter of the late Sir Edmund Hillary, and Jamling Tenzing, the son of Sherpa Tenzing Norgay, will join Humpty's climb team.

This is the first time that second and third generations of Everest climbers have united for such an expedition.
