Your Privacy is important to The Humpty Dumpty Foundation Assoc. Inc. (known as Humpty ) . The Commonwealth Privacy Act requires us to handle your personal information in accordance with a set of principles known as the National Privacy Principles (“NPP”).
The following statement explains our policies and procedures in relation to our management of the personal information that we collect from you via our website.
What information do we collect from you and how is it used?
Humpty only collects personal information that is relevant to the work we do. Humpty’s website is used generally for informative purposes, as a means of contacting Humpty employees or representatives and to process your charitable donations. In fulfilling this purpose, Humpty collects and holds personal information about you including names, addresses, contact details, information relevant to donations made online, fulfilling our legal obligations, communicating with you or any other information that is relevant to us carrying out our work.
We may also collect non-personally identifiable information as a result of your visit to our website which may only be used by Humpty to determine level of interest in and effectiveness of the Humpty site. Humpty will not make an attempt to identify users or their browsing activities. However, in the unlikely event of an investigation, a law enforcement agency or other government agency may exercise its legal authority to inspect our Internet Service Provider's logs.
By submitting information electronically to Humpty, you acknowledge that you have given us your consent to collect and hold the information for this purpose.

Where personal information is disclosed, there are controls in place to ensure that information is held, used and/or disclosed in accordance with the NPP or where we otherwise have your consent.
There will be times when your personal information is disclosed to third parties which include any organisations which provide necessary services to Humpty, your financial institution, regulatory bodies and government agencies. The information disclosed is limited to information needed by the third party to perform the services. The third party is only permitted by law to use that information to provide the specific service and not for any other purpose.

Humpty takes all proper precautions to protect your personal information from misuse, unlawful or unauthorised disclosure.
If you provide Humpty with your donation, you will be directed to the Westpac Web Advantage payment system. This payment system is governed by its own Privacy Policy issued by Westpac, which we encourage that you read before submitting your donation.

Humpty does not track your internet activity before or after you leave the Humpty website and therefore Humpty is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of any other site that you visit irrespective of whether you are forwarded to that website via Humpty’s website.

Humpty’s web site uses temporary session cookies. Cookies do not identify you but simply allow us to track usage patterns so that we can measure the level of interest in various areas of our site.
