Balmoral Burn - 10 years - $10 million!

This year's 2010 Balmoral Burn has raised over $2 million which has significantly contributed to the Burn's overall fundraising total of $10 million in 10 years. As one of Sydney's biggest events, the Burn has helped purchase over 550 pieces of medical equipment for children's hospitals and health services.

On Sunday 30 May, thousands of participants from schools, corporations, families and individuals who simply want to help Humpty raise funds, walked, sprinted and puffed their way up a 420m stretch of Awaba Street in Mosman. The predicted wet weather did not deter crowds from participating and spectating.

Some of the highlights included Channel 7's Sunrise breakfast presenter David Koch who took on the hill in a wheelchair having been challenged by Australian Paralympian Kurt Fearnley and Hi-5 who returned to lead the Hi-5 Hike for the kids and a performance in the park.
