About Humpty

The Humpty Dumpty Foundation was officially established in 1996 by founder and chairman Paul Francis, to purchase much needed medical equipment and support children’s services at Royal North Shore Hospital. Due to overwhelming corporate and community assistance, Humpty has continued to extend its support of Paediatric services and Newborn Care Centres. Humpty now supports over 60 children’s hospitals and health services across Australia as well as two children’s hospitals in East Timor.

In the last four years, Humpty has raised over $11million and has purchased more than 700 pieces of essential medical equipment.

Another initiative is Humpty’s Special Projects which funds a range of projects including Fairy Garden’s at Royal North Shore and Mt Druitt Hospital, a fulltime Paediatric Fellowship and weekly Clown Doctor visits to the children’s ward at Royal North Shore. Our ongoing commitment in funding these various projects is critical to ensure the long term health and well being of our children.

Over half the hospitals and health services that Humpty supports are located in rural regions, many of which rely on government funding and the generosity of the locals who use the medical services, but often that is not enough.
